Our Autumn edition of Mill Memories is hot off the press and on its way to our Friends. Did you spot our new logo?
The latest newsletter will be arriving on our Friends’ doorsteps soon. There are a number of fascinating articles highlighting just some of our material, such as our attractive milling journals and a stunning millwrighting book in our collection with intricate drawings, which dates from 1761. There is also a feature on our summer Garden Parties with some of the kind comments that guests made to us after attending – perhaps you will see yourself in one of our photos!
As the Archive continues to grow, there are a lot of changes taking place such as the design of a new logo to better reflect our interest in both wind- and waterpower. In fact, this is the first newsletter to feature our new logo and we’d love to know what you think of it.
Similarly, in the press cuttings article written by intern Sarra Sheikh, we are developing our new website and online catalogue and you can get a sneak peak of what the new catalogue will look like.
