The William Scott Abbott Trust has been awarded funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to support the £1.7m Sacrewell Watermill Restoration Project and need a Project Officer.
The Mill Project Officer will be play a key role in ensuring the project and its associated aims and objectives are delivered. The post holder will also be responsible for all aspects relating to the operation and management of the Sacrewell Mill complex along with the delivery of the Activity and Interpretation Plan. The postholder will also be responsible for recruiting and managing a Learning & Interpretation Officer along with a team of volunteers.The project will maximise the full potential of the Watermill as an educational resource and area of enjoyment for schools, the local community and other visitors. This will include developing a programme of tours, demonstrations, events and activities that will bring this unique site alive
