These pieces were inspired by the artists’ research in the archive, which resulted in them (along with Mills Archive staff and Jelly, a local arts charity) leading a total of four workshops at local primary schools. The workshops explored the importance of wind and water power in the community, encouraging children to think about the past, present and future (ie. wind and water energy for future electricity needs vs. wind and water mills).
. . This interactive virtual exhibition showcases the artists’ incredible work, the childrens’ creations from the primary school workshops mentioned above, as well as the rest of the art in our Community Art Collection.
