One of our regular volunteers, Tom Hine, spotted this postcard and we are having trouble deciphering the spidery handwriting! Could you decipher the name of the mill in the note, or perhaps you even recognise the mill on the front of the postcard?
Here is a photo of the handwritten text on the back of the postcard that mentions what looks like the name of the mill:
“Do you remember skating here with me “P..t…. Water Mill”.”
Any ideas of what it says would be much appreciated (it’s driving us crazy, and will help us to file it correctly).
